No Whine here

Carolyn took an extra day off after the 4th of July weekend and was able to drive me up to wine country to see my cousin Beth.    Beth chose a Brew pub, and of course Carolyn had been there before.  As it happens Beth had a gift card from her boyfriend Clancy.  Clancy is a volunteer high school baseball coach and they gave him the gift card.  Unfortunately, Clancy could not join us.  I would have loved to have told him about the trip in person.

Beth suggested we go to the Frances Ford Coppola Winery.

Carolyn is also a member of a winery (or 2).  We stopped by one close by.

  We then went to Armstrong Redwood Forest State Park.  We went for a few mile hike in the woods.  It was good practice for the next day in Oakland and San Francisco.
